We got off to a great start in the morning being 4-1 up at half time against a strong Glamorgan team.
However, the afternoon was a different story after Nigel Evans and Andy Williams secured 1.5 points early on, Glamorgan came out fighting. It was all very tense and it looked like we were going to lose or get a half at best but an 18th hole birdie from Colin Watkins which was followed soon afterwards by Paul Moulton’s chip in on the last to win his match meant that it was all down to the last match on the course. Unfortunately we didn’t see Tony Horton’s great 2 & 1 win on the 17th because of the action on the last. But at the end of the day it meant an 8 -7 away win and continues our three match unbeaten run this season.
